Isn't it ironic...don't ya think?

Well isn't it ironic...don't ya think??
...two weeks later and still no pictures, or video updates from which I promised in my last post!

How about I just stick with short and sweet

Father's Day

I had to work last night, and was on call today, which thankfully I didn't have to stay for contrary to my belief since we were so busy!

Due to my working all night I needed a bit of sleep before being the best Mom and wife to my Husband who is suppose to be enjoying Father's Day!

Mike stayed with the girls all day, which yes seems like a perfect Father's Day, but I was not there to help things make it the best. I would have enjoyed church together, breakfast together, lunch together or at least something, but instead my zzzzz's took precedence. I feel sorry for Mike that I was unable to 'spoil' him on his day, because Lord knows on my day, Mother's Day, I expected the world.

(insert quick post about my Mother's Day since I never did.....

We went to Great Country Farms where we enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL weather and sites to see in Bluemont Virginia! What a great place to take the kids! Lily LOVES farm animals, and there were just enough to make her happy. The activities and playgrounds are a plethora on the grounds, and the most fun, a GIANT moon bouncey thingy that comes out of the ground! GREAT FUN!

We topped off the day with a trip to Bluemont Vineyard (directly across the street from GCF) where we all enjoyed playing outside amongst all the other families, sipping on great wine and enjoying the scenery. Then we headed over to my parents for some grilling and time with MoMo and GPA! Wine, strollers, babies, outdoors....they make us all tired :)

.....Mother's Day post Over!)

He is such a great sport and an amazing Father!

We love you, Mikey, Daddy!

I guess it would be nice if I even had some pictures of Mike and the girls ON Father's Day, but alas that didn't even happen.

Instead we do have pictures of the small birthday party we had for Connor's 2nd birthday!

Like most people, when all the grandkids are together, we like to take a group shot. Well with 5 under 3 1/2 years the task isn't always the easiest.

As
youcan seeAnd even though it may have been all Connor's fault this time that we didn't get a good shot....he is so damn cute!!! Happy 2nd Birthday Buddy!!!
